Default Info on lowering 4x4

How low can you go with a 4x4 and not have problems?
Can you keep the ride good?

I had control arms drop keys and flipkit in the rear with some monroe sensa trac shocks and it rode like a dream.. Better than stock. It was sitting about 4.5"/6"

How low do you want to go and how much money do you want to spend?

If you guys were going to do one thing for the front would you choose spindles or control arms?

D'oh! I totally went with the spindles. I haven't gotten them installed yet though. Wait... I can do control arms while being 4wd? I thought you couldn't.

I went the McGaughy's spindle route & the ride up front sucks, no other way to put it. It's harsh & I have mad bump steer. The roads down here in SW MS are terrible & if I'm going anything over 40mph, it's like the front wheels start jumping opposite of one another & I have to hold the wheel firmly & slow down until it stops.

Ima have to try the control arms because I love the look of mine lowered. That & I'm the lowest in this part of MS, where everybody else is lifted

Yes djm makes upper and lower control arms for 4x4 or torsion bar trucks.. Mine rode great. I never got the uppers but you will have to have them to get the camber right
