since da money tree died in February. Wish I had money for an FLT.
Hmmm... funny you should say you had vibration issues. I've got vibe issues too, but mine exists from 85 on up. Suspension, pinion, what? I wonder if that has something to do with forward placement of new motor and trans (did relocate trans crossmember forward a couple inches). Back to the drawing board.

The tranny guy is Morris Transmissions off of Choctaw. He built my unit for $1720.xx and gave me a two year warrenty on parts and labor with unlimited mileage.
He backs it to.This was a fully built unit. The only thing stock left in it was that output shaft.Everything else is cyro treated and what not.

He knows full well what the truck goes through and it doesn't bother him one bit.
I paid for a Performance Build. One that he said without a doubt would handle anything i could throw at it.His words.
Well the one part he put back in that was stock was the output shaft and it broke.
He also was so confident i coudn't break anything he gave me a two year warrenty on parts and labor with unlimited mileage.
Trust me he knows i go out and play with it from time to time and he doesn't have one problem fixing it like he said he would if it broke.

For what its worth Im about to have my 4th tranny installed(1 stock and 3 built) in 2 months. I was also told it was bulletproof. After coming here for a few years I knew that was BS though. Stock one lasted about 50k. The first built one 3 weeks and blew the drum. The second built one 1.2 weeks. The third one will be built next week as soone as i get around to taking it off the motor. Lets just say if this one doesnt work they arent getting another chance. The crappy part about it is the last one happened right after I buy a 408.
