I think you should invest in a billet output shaft. http://finishlinetrans.com/store/pro...products_id=65

if you need a ride to the meet Nov. 4th and want to ride with a REAL transmission (FLT) I'll come pick you up in Matt's truck... after all, it is the Z71 that out ran the lightning

at the track Nov. 4th we'll show everyone what a real transmission does

...and since you aren't running, did you get those tires, I may need to borrow them

Well Matt said you can't run that Lightning again for a reason lol.
I did get the tires though and they will be sitting there not in use unless someone else needs to borrow em.

Yep, I feel your pain. I broke two input drums, one output shaft, a parking gear, a planetary, can't remember what else, but there were lots of hard parts. Have you increased your shift pressures above stock at all?

I don't know, but you've personally felt the wrath of the 4WD burnout/launch...

BTW Vince, white1's truck is in good hands while he's away...

I'd have to agree, your rear suspension isn't designed to handle that kind of lateral load. Go for the gusto and get an 80 put in.
