Im putting a 6.0 with gt2-3 in my truck and the turbo kit will also be staying on. Im going to run a 4l80e behind it and have 4.10s in the rear end.

I am pretty sure that im going to order a 9.5" Vigilante 3000 for it. What do you guys think about my choice?

BTW, i dont do any towing. Also i don't see the track that much but love to give it hell around town on a friday night if that gives you an idea of my driving style.

i had a vig in my camaro and loved it for racing, for a DD though it wasn't too hot. It was a 3600, and very loose. I dont think it was very well matched for the combo i was running and i just want to be sure i get it right this time.

Sounds like a good set-up....I would think that with that cam you might not need that much converter but I am no turbo expert so I dunno. Sounds like a killer combo though.

The GT2-3 cam is a small cam. I gives you more power, but it leaves a lot left on the table. Be sure to try and match your cam's power band up with the correct stall RPM. You will need at least a 220 grind or split grind cam for the 6.0L and turbo. Smaller intake grind and a larger exhaust grind. Aim around a .580 lift or similar. Stay around a 115 lsa minimum.
I will be using a Vig converter with my Radix kit. It will be a 3-disc, 10.5" 2600 stall converter. Not sure what the turbo likes in a stall, but the Radix will need a tight converter.

turbos like it loose to build up some boost to launch with off the line as long as you can hold some traction
