Im a new feller here and need a hand. I have been tuning diesels for quite some time and no the limit on when they need a tranny. I am tuning my dads 4.8 gasser. Im kinda on a limp now because i got to buy a wideband O2 sensor. at what limit does this truck need tranny work. And what kinda tranny work does it need. All its going to have is efi live exhaust and intake. Will the stock tranny hold this power. Or will a simple transgo jr do it? Thanks for the help

it will just depend, but the trans probabyl wont crap out unless you take out ALL the transmission torque management and he beats on it constantly

 

That was the plan. We want her to cut loose when u nail it. So what kinda tranny up grade should we do. Can someone post some links for me or numbers?
