I paid $1100 to have 4.10's put in my Silvy because I had plans to race it. The Yukon I bought only for a family ride specialy with 3.42's for gas milage. I never plan on racing it and dont care how fast it will get 8000 lbs. moving. I want a slow steady highway cruiser with max mpg's. I didnt buy a $44K gas sucking tow rig, or did I?

In that case, then, yeah, you need to 1) make sure you have something other than 3.42s and 2) make an appointment with the local Zone Rep. I would be pissed as well.

 

well one way to find out if you have the 4.10's is to get it to 68mph and floor it if it drops to 2nd gear then you have 3.42's, my suburban with the 3.73 gears gets 18mpg on the hwy at 80mph. (9passenger)

oh stop bitch'n you like it and you know it you just like to start trouble lol. other wise you wouldn't take it to the track j/k. well i tell you what lets trade front and rear ends i'll have 4.10's front and back and you have my 3.73. they had to know what they put in it or else you 4wd wouldn't work right. you would be push'n or pull'n the front with the rear in 4wd. so at least they did that right lol.

Mark the tire and the driveshaft and count the rotations. 4 full turns to 1 full turn =4.10s

 

Man pull your cover! If I lived any where close to you I would come by my self and pull it for you the GD suspense is killing me!
