Don't forget to change the front gears along with the rear. Is going 4:10's from 3:73's even worth the money for the swap?

I liked the results from 3.73 to 4.10 swap. Really a noticeable difference. Wish I had done 4.56. I didn't swap gears in the front. Just found a low mile diff with the 4.10's already in it.

spend the money somewhere else. 3.73 is a good gear.

I like the pulling power I have w/ 4.10's, but at 80 mph I'm at almost 3,000 rpm. ouch

One time i saw to stock Chevy trucks of same year, same body style, same motors drag race at the 1/8 mile track, the only difirence between them was one was 3.73 and one was 4.10.

They both had almost identical times! The 4.10 truck jumped off the line but, the 3.73 would real him in... This happened multipule times... I think you could spend money on better mods than 4.10's unless you plan on towing lots or going with a taller tire.
