sucks man!! even though i don't make much power, those al driveshats scare me, i want a built one too

if your running spray you better at least be running a dshaft loop. steel is the way to go, but if your not making that much power put a stock one back in and run 2 dshaft loops, one is not enough.

The majority of problems aren't from the fact that the DS is aluminum or long. Hell we run an aluminum driveshaft roughly the same length as the one on my ECSB in our cup cars that see 180mph all day long and truthfully they aren't that much heavier than our stock GM ones. But its all about balancing, the stock GM DS are not very well balanced at all, it took us 5 times before we could get mine balanced properly.
