Default How strong are all wheel drive transfer case?

The all wheel drive denali transfer case how strong are they?
Can they hold 500-600 hp at their curb weight of 5500 lbs?
Also how much power could they handle if the weight went down to 3500 lbs.

I haven't seen any of the AWD cases from the silverado SS trucks have problems yet. They use a different internal config than the Denali/Escalade. Normally I'd say the Denali/Escalade Tcase is tough too, but I've got a buddy with a stroker in his Escalase and we think it has a transfer case problem. I need to get it to the service dept before we will know anything.

If you were to use one in a light vehicle, it would definitely last longer. There have been a couple of 5000 pound SS trucks going low 12s or high 11s with those cases. That has to be 500+rwhp.
