Default How much TQ management to pull?

Need some advice as I'm getting the truck tuned this weekend finally. How much tq management can I safely remove with no other work on the trans and still have it live for right now? Was thinking about leaving 40% in it....also gonna have shift points changed as well....anything else I should look in to having done?

I'd say 0%. If it's a stock truck then definantly 0%. I'm running like 5% right now with a cammed 5.3L and the truck has 102k miles on the stock drivetrain.

Are you saying pull 100% or don't pull any?

Who/what kind of tune? Most take it all out but I think my tune has a little left in it.

Nick Williams, just gonna be pretty much a quick tune...not a full out dyno tune.

I removed 100% on mine in normal and left some for the towing mode. No problems. As long as you dont go out and beat the **** out of it everyday, you should be good.
