UPS delivered my converter today but it will probably be a couple of weeks before it's installed.
ive NEVER heard of a problem or know anyone who has heard of problems with a stock trailblazer stall. the furnaced brazed mumbo jumbo sounds like a sales pitch to me but im no guru....either one is good to go IMO

My decision to buy one was partially based on your recommendation and results.

I would have been glad to get in on a GP. I wasn't in a rush. I just had the money and found a decent price. I didn't think it would really happen. Now it looks like it might, so I may be at what I paid.

Well I am 99% sure they are.Late model coverters are built way better than the old days, more precision, better balance, better materials, they use needle bearing instead of thrush washers.

ONly thing really bad about late model converters is the pos lock up clutch they have, The clutch material in most cases is stamped and not machined so they dont get full contact and burn up. Apparently this process is either lost on TCI or they dont machine their clutches cause I have seen time and again burnt clutches in teh tcs inlcuding my own
