Default How much drop with 285/35/22s?

My 22x9" Centerlines will be here on Monday and I think I've decided on 285/35/22s. Can I go any lower than a 2/4 with these tires? Not much lower, say 2.5"/3" drop up front and 5" in the rear? I'm not looking to slam it but I was thinking I may want to go a little lower than a 2/4. The wheels have 5.5" backspacing. I'm not 100% set on 285/35/22s so don't be shy to recommend another tire size keeping in mind I don't want rubber bands. Thanks!

You could probably do a 3/5. The front might be pretty close to rubbing.

My truck is lowered 3/5 with 285/35R22's. The tires do not rub.

Thanks for the responses, guys.

When did you get those wheels, j's01silverado? What's the backspacing on them? That looks about like the stance I want.

My brother is lowered 4/6 and ran a 22x10 with that tire and didn't rub.
Now that I think about it both my brothers are lower than a 2/4 and didnt rub with that tire.

I had them on my Tahoe before and I just installed them on the truck instead a few months back. They are 22x10's, not sure of the backspacing though.

It rides ok, but I am going to need a notch eventually because the back will bottom out on big bumps.

You could probably get 265/40 22's to fit with a 2/4, maybe a 3/6.

Awesome, thanks for the responses and pics. Looks like I was worried about nothing! I was worried I wouldn't be able to go lower than a 2/4 with 285/35/22s but it looks like I was wrong.
