Just curious because I don't see any.
They installed mine in the top eyelet on the front hanger and I have like zero adjustability except to add more preload. At it's minimum setting it's still tight to the leaf spring.
The bitch of it is they use large bolts for which I have no wrenches large enough to work on it myself here at the house and I don't have time today to go buy some.. Grrrrrr
So now I get to drive to Kung Fu class with a one-legged tirespinning monster!!! 1/2 throttle and I spin!

hell no that is not rt. you are talking about the rod ends thet let you adjust the pre load correct? you should be able to adjust them were you have hell almost an inch between the bolt and the spring. plus that makes for a ruffer ride. i have had mine about the thickness of a winger gap for like over a year and have not touched them.

If the bars are a little long that will be the case. Nothing hurt by it, but you can't relax them so to say. DId you tell them about all the drop stuff on the truck when you ordered them?
FYI, use the bottom bolts, they have less of an effect, and will actually perform better per Calvert. The top holes make the reaction a lot more 'violent'. I got the impression it will also make body seperation more prevelant.

Yeah, the bar is tight against the jam nut and the jam nut is as far up against the spherical bushing as it will go IE no adjustment except to add more preload. I can even get the "bolt" to stop touching the top of the leaf spring.
I'll have to get some bigger wrenches and take the stuff apart and try the bottom eyelet on the hanger. The guy that installed them said he couldn't put them there for some reason so worst comes to worst I will have to measure from the rear eyelet to the front eyelet and they'll send me a another set of bars.
I did tell them exactly what lowering parts I was using. Maybe I just got the wrong kit. LOL

Did you tell them that your truck is lowered when you ordered the Cal-tracs????
When you drop the truck on the leaf springs, the Driveshaft actually gets pushed further forward into the tranny.... I don't know if you noticed that at all, but that's why they make the flip kits with plates that push the axle back some to allow the clearance.
I think this might be your issue.

Yes Chris, I told them exactly what parts I used and now much I lowered it. I think they simply sent me the wrong stuff. I'm gonna take one of the bars off on Sat. and measure it out so I can get them to send me the right ones.

They will send you new ones. :jugde: Calvert Racing is a great company to deal with. They'll probably just exchange them for you. You could always cut off what ever you need, and weld on a new nut. Just an idea, if you don't want to hassle with shipping them back.
