Default High horsepower driveshaft dfw area

You guys that have high horsepower z71 trucks in the dfw area, where are y'all getting your driveshafts from? My friends got one and we don't trust the stock rear aluminum one that feels super thin.

Driveshaft specialists are down in San Antonio, they're who I'm gonna go with. Whatever you do, DO NOT deal with dfw gear and axle. They shortened and high speed balanced mine, and when I got it back there wasn't even a single weight on it. Of course I didn't notice it until I pulled it back off bc it vibrated so bad.

The way i see it anyone should be able to build a good driveshaft.

I had a local semi shop build me a 2pc 3.5" steel with solid spicer 1350s and sonnax billet yoke. I think the guy laughed when i told him it needed to hold 1000

We'll probably end up going with driveshaft specialist then. I figure the stock one will give up around 500hp with how thin it is
