I love my yank 3600. Started as a SS4000 and I bought it after the original owner had yank re-stall it to 3600. I LOVE this thing.

What is your budget on the converter?

Any of the reputable companies would be fine.

FTI, CircleD, Yank, even Edge Racing Converters, and so on..

FTI could build you a billet 10.5" of the same rating as a yank for a little less than a Yank.

I'm not looking to break the bank on one but I want a good one at the same time. I'll give those places a call and see what they say.

If you are on a somewhat budget not wanting to spend $700-$900 range and still want a good converter at the same time look into the Edge Racing Converters Street Edge converter. That line runs at $575.

Did you try calling FTI for a custom converter?

Another company that people have had good luck with on ls1tech is the ptc converters in Muscle Shoals, AL.. They are not too expensive either, can get one in the 400-500 range for your needs.

I talked to FTI and their 10.5 billet lock up is $899 and also talked to Dave at Yank and the SST he recommended is $745. Waiting to hear back from Circle D and will contact Edge Racing tomorrow. Thanks man
