Regular cab short bed z71. Turbo 4.8 and 4l80e. Hd2 shift kit. Truck is about 4900lbs plus me. Going with a larger turbo soon and am looking for a converter. Going to stick with a six bolt. What can anyone recommend and what are some prices? I have a yank in my GTO and love it but I'd rather not spend the a grand if possible. I need something in the 3500 range and it needs to have a lockup for the highway. Figure 750rwhp. Suggestions?

No one wants to sell a converter huh? I'll be needing one for another project soon too so that's a shame, could have sold two. Guess I'll order from Yank again, he treated me well on the GTO converter.

I apologize, did not see your thread...... Sounds like our 245mm or maybe 258mm will work. Might lean to the 245mm to help the 4.8 spool. If you are not wanting WOT lock up, then a single disk is good and they are in your budget. We can make them in the traditional 4L80 6 lug bolt pattern, no problem. Can you send over an Ask Chris with all your specs, then I can properly spec you one - link is in sig.
