Question help me with my 60e

is there anything that needs to be adjusted after a transmission swap?
my transmission was working ok at first but then after a while it started slipping then i couldnt get 3rd then went 2nd it got to a point where it wouldnt move but the next day i went to go turn it on after i put the stock dipstick back in and removed a gallon of fluid out of it (stupid ebay flexible dipstick) it went into gear ok but after a while it starts to slip which i then turned off the truck and restarted it and it work again any ideas why this is happening????

If you overfilled it because of the dipstick you may have damaged the trans.

That's kinda a big deal... What kind of dipstick tube allowed you to even do this?
