I browsed through it in the past. No doubt it has some good info in there. A lot of the cars in there seemed to be running 9s and cutting 1.3 60's who needed advice.

I was looking for something more orientated towards 10, 11, 12sec nose heavy trucks like "my truck worked best on 4 clicks off full tight rebound and full tight compression in rear". I realize the answer is probably whatever works best for my setup.

The last time I went to the track I was only able to get 4 runs in in 4 hrs and out of the 4, 3 of them I spun (with 4 clicks from full lose rebound and full tight compression). I was hoping to fast track some of the TNT, but maybe it is unavoidable.

Next time I'll try full tight rebound and work it from there.

My truck has exactly 5" of travel if I jack the front end up where the wheel is just off the ground.

Measure shock at ride height and then at full extension

If you have more then 5 you're good

When I pulled it in the shop at the wheel well above the center of the tire it was 31 1/4 above the drivers side, and 31 3/4 above the passenger side. When I jacked it up to the tire just touching the ground it was 36 1/4 on the drivers side and 36 1/2 on the passengers side.

If I went with a coil over setup in the front do you think it would give me that much? What is your setup?

I would have more if it wasn't for my upper ball joint being maxed out

JDM drag springs, stock limiters trimmed back some under upper control arms

Pics in my build thread

sounds like you have enough travel. I wouldn't worry unless you start topping out your front suspension (and if the rear unloads when it tops out)
