Should get my driveshaft tomorrow 3.5" steel hd they said they balance at 2000 rpm but they have several 8.6 second race cars using the same kind and they see 8000 rpm. now i just hope thats my only problem, wifey got pissed.I told her good thing it went on dyno and not on highway with her..........she's not falling for it thinks I was racing.

Another vote for the custom steel drievshaft

Need to clean up the lettering lol

Main idea is to not dyno in 3rd gear and dont try to go top speed in the truck on the freeway

That sucks man. That makes me worry about mine a little. Is yours aluminum? Mine is a small diameter steel shaft (the driveshaft that is )

Both custom driveshafts I've run have come from Inland Empire Driveline. They have shops near me in Corona and Ontario. These people do such good work they now supply Summit Racing with driveshafts for F-Bodies.

So let me ask you all this... what is everyone upgrading to? Because I still have the stock one in there. Truck has 90k miles on it now...i replaced the u-joints just recently and had them rebalence it at 80k. I dont feel any vibration at high speeds (115+) but I'm almost afraid to get on the dyno this weekend now.
