Default Hd2 kit plus dual feed mod ok?

I have already done the hd2 kit to my 4l80e. Is it ok to also do the dual feed direct clutch mod at the same time?

You will need too take out the hd2 sandwitched seperator plate and use a oem or regular transgo plate

Thank you. Do I still drill the stock plate for shift firmness?

Yes..are you doing a rebuild on it? To do the dual feed you need the transmission apart to take out the direct drum seal

Yes, I took it completely apart for inspection. I drilled the hole, removed the center seal, removed the second sealing ring and blocked off the reverse lube hole.
Pretty much right after I did all this I read something about this mod plus the full hd2 kit wouldn't work. I'm a little worried now, but as mentioned I think I can just switch back to a regular separator plate and be safe.
I might need to plug where I drilled for the hd2 pressure relief valve..??
Hopefully where I drilled the hole in the valve body between the torque signal and "void" passages it won't hurt anything..??

I believe you should not do step 4 & 5 on the HD2 kit if you are going todo the dual feed mod. That is what i did i believe.

Yes I believe I'll have to undo steps 1, 4 and 5.
