Default has anyone tried a 295/45/20?

looking for some tires, i have ran the 275/45/20 before but want to go a little wider with a 295/45/20...... anybody ran this size before? they are 30.4" tire so it wont be much different from what im running now 275/60/17 (30")

To ad, I'd be curious to know what type of tires people are running too. I can't afford to buy Nitto drag radials every 10,000 miles.

My truck is a joke on 245/50/20s

Tyler is running 295/40/20 on his. Has been for a real long time.

im wanting to go with a 295/45 cause it is like $50/each cheaper than a 295/40....

pretty much, if you have a converter then any tire will be a joke, unless its a drag radial on a 20" wheel...

Yea I suppose so, but I figure the extra 50mm(2") in width might help

i RAN SOME HANKOOK 295/45/20 BUT HAD NO TRACTION AT ALL. i AM RUNNING 305 BFG'S NOW AND STILL HAVE NO TRACTION. I guess next thing is some drag radials.

I'm really tempted to try the Nitto NT05 tires. They're supposedly meant for road racing, but they also say you can use them for drag racing. They're a bit cheaper than the 555r drag radials and are a little harder of a compound. The only problem is that they don't have anything in between a 275/40/20 and 315/35/20.

im going to run a 275/45 up front and a 295/45 rear,
what do yall think of that???

i think you should run the same size all around. what drop do you have? are you sure you cant find the 295/40s any cheaper? that would be best.
