Is it possible to install these upside down? They've been on for like two or three years now so I know it isn't hurting anything. It might be lowering my truck more than it should though because my 2" shackles are set on the 1" hole. It still sags a bit lower than the front with 2" coils. I just use my helper air bags to lift it level.

 

I think it's possible, is the perch facing up "u" or down "n"

 

I don't really see how they could be mounted upside down. The holes aren't parallel with each other. They gradually grow farther apart. It has been a while since I've peered at my hangers though.

 

They are facing up like a "u". The leaf goes in from on top. Which way is it suppossed to be? There's no way cal tracs could be used on these without major modification.

 

U up?..that has to be upside down..I cant imagine how you would even put the leafs back on that way..unless they bolted the leafs in first and then installed the hangers..I dunno...But I am positive from memory my U is down.

 

lol. I can't believe I never paid attention to that. I was so aggravated with grinding the rivets off, I was just ready to be done. It was a bitch of an install for sure.

Different companies make hangers that face different directions?

My Belltechs are n, and 53russell had djm and they were u iirc
