Nice. Is there an upgrade program? Just curious.

We do offer great prices on stall changes
but we do not have any way to sell used converters form any type of trade in program.
The reason is
YANK only sells converters with New parts and will continue too.
and we will not rebuild and resell them as new!
when company's offer free stall changes or upgrades they swap used parts
between converters or swap customers converters to fill the need.
Sorry we do not do this.

That makes sense, not getting involved in pre-owned converters. I am not looking at doing anything at this moment. Oh yeah, thanks for a great product.

Does Yank offer stuff for my 1997 Voretc 350 truck?

Currently I have a V6 S10 TC that brake stalls to 25-2600 rpm. I dont need any fancy lockup clutches or anything as I dont lock the TCC at WOT.
Maybe a 3000 rpm brake stall or something like that?

thanks in advance
peace

you might look at the a converter in the 3200 to 3400 stall to get close to a brake stall of 2600/2800 but to go 3000 you will have to go to a low STR or a converter with a higher stall like a 3600
the converters in our c-5 corvette or LT1 section will fit your truck

When i say brake stall, the trans is in 1st gear, e brake and foot brake on firmly and the throttle at WOT. I can hold this without the rear tires spinning, the tach reads 2500-2600 rpm.

I didnt realize I would need such a higher stall rating for my truck.
My truck weighs 4000 lbs.

i just want to have the lowest ET in teh 1/4 mile as possble, i never would have guessed such a high rpm.

Thanks, I will have to go to the track with some slicks on this spring, I cant remember what my tach reads when I stomp teh gas at WOT form a dig with a straight hook launch.
As i stated above I footbrake to 2500-2600 rpm with the stock S10 V6 S10 TC. Will the rpm the tach reads when I floor the gas with slicks at teh track be higher or lower than when I brake stall the TC?

Will the Yank TC's be more effecient than my stock V6 S-10 TC?

The higher the STR, the harder the hit to the tires correct? A 2.6 STR will hit the tires harder than a 2.2 STR, is this correct?

The truck really seems to pull hard at 3700 rpm?
Do your above recommendations still apply? Sorry to be such a pain.

thanks again
peace
