Default Greasable u joint

I have one sealed and one greasable u joint in my driveshaft. Has anyone ran a greasable joint for a while with slicks and not blow it up?

Just curious as to why a greasable u joint would blow up when running slicks. I was planning on puttin greasable u joints on my ds when I do the 80e swap but mayb I might have second thoughts if it would give me complications.

Supposable, greasable joints aren't as strong as non greasable because of the hole dilled though them for the grease channels. I have seen BOTH kinds broke, So I really don't think it matters.

Since you have seen both kinds break KB, I think I'll give it a shot with what I have. I have driveshaft loops and don't make very much power anyway.

I believe Jason broke his greasable ones and then changed over to non-greasable and hasn't had a problem. I have greasable ones on mine and was also wanting to switch them out but they have held up.

Did you make the driveshaft loop yourself. You want to make me one too.
