Well, it only took me about 3 hrs or so but I got it done with hand tools and a little 'home' engineering... I'd say I pulled probly 50 lbs or so off the axle as well. Had to cut a groove in the top of the stud that holds the spring pack together and hold it with a flat head. yeah it worked too! Also had to go buy some 7/16ths washers for the nut cause the stud isn't threaded that low.

Leveled the truck out. I think it looks and rides better. before the rear end was kinda stiff IMO (hangar, shackle drop). Just need to drop the front down about and inch to compensate for the tire difference.

The bastard...

~2/5 when he does the front he will be about 3/5.
00silv4.8 did you take any measurements? i know most people get anywhere from 3/4 to a full inch from that.

so you dropped the overload spring or the middle leaf?

dont drop the middle leaf....trust me!!

if you are saying it rides better im guessing you didnt take the middle spring out, cuz if you take that one out u ride on the bumpstops all the time...or mine did.

yeah, helper spring only is out. Rides alot smoother, my truck used to feel real ridgid in the rear but now over small bumps at about 50 mph Ill hit frame, but its not too bad. Its ~2/5 like bright teal said. I need to do some springs on the front cuz I think its a little bouncy and my front tires are lots smaller so its kinda open. Then bigger tires on the rear. Might have a 6.0 sooner than I thought tho so looks will be on hold again
