Default Got a few questions need some help please

I'm looking to purchace a detroit truetrac for my truck. I know I have a crap G80 and need to upgrade it. Does anybody know the right part # to order. I have the 10 bolt. Also do I have the 28 or 30 slpine shaft. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

not sure on the part number, but the I am almost positive that you have the 28 spline.

He has a 30 spline

913a481 is what you need. I know that # by heart.

Sweet thanks. I assume that's eatons part # ??? I've been researching it for a few days now my head was starting to spin to figure it out...lol

Do yourself a favor and order it from Ron's machining service. The guy is top notch and confirms what you buy will fit your truck. I got it for $360 from him. But I actually bought a master install kit for a 8.5" rear end and he caught it and sent me the proper 8.6" kit.
