Well i don't know the exact specifics, since they are not MINE, they are my friends, but both converters are what each manufacturer suggested/recommended, that is why they bought them... So with that said, it still appears to me that the circleD is better. i mean how much more do you want to add to the equation to make the comparison fair????... Seems pretty fair comparison to me...

It seems to me the CircleD is performing better, or at least it was set up better for the particular application.

IMO the yank is too loose...

Well I am saying the CircleD performs better up top, the Yank is too loose up top and that is why it is not performing better at the track... IMO it is more effiecient (sp) all the way around, but mainly up top... Track times speak for themselves....

BTW, orginal poster, sorry for whoring up your thread

When I drove them
CircleD
5.3 Ext Cab 216/220 low lift on 114, all boltons, 4.10s and truetrac

yank
5.3 RC stock cam, boltons, 4.10s truetrac

Now the same trucks at the track
CircleD
5.3 Ext Cab 216/220 low lift on 114, all boltons, 4.10s and truetrac

yank
5.3 RC 220/220 XER 114+4 RC, boltons, 4.10s truetrac

Scotts Ext Cab runs 1 hundredth faster, even thou the RC has a better 60ft. Both on slicks/drag radials not spinning.

I am pretty sure that covers the details accurately, So anymore questions... IMO circleD hands down...
I wasn't running on slicks

No, idea. I'd have to ask chris that one.

But my converter is one of their stage 1 billet 9.5"s, they call the one I have a 3c.

Some info about the converter
9.5" Billet front and Billet piston, Furnace brazed, HD stator, Flanged Hub.

Here is part of a PM from Chris

2. "3C" Rated at 3500-3700, same increase in stall for weight.

So basically do you want to be 3400-3600 or 3600-3800. These are estimates of course, every vehicle is a little different.

However, mine seems to flash closer to the 3900-4000 range in my truck.
