I had that kit on my truck. I changed the front springs back to stock and used a 2(1/2?) control arm. I am able to use stock length shocks in the front now which is nice. I actually would like to have my whole truck back to stock ride height.

What did you not like about them? I want a soft ride, no harshness or stiffness..

I had them in the front only. The compression was OK, they would blow through on big impacts and let the front end bottom. They had almost no rebound. One shock started leaking about 1 month after installing. I replaced them with Bilstien HDs, those have been working flawless. I am very happy so far. The Bilstiens ride very comfortable, no harshness at all.

I am still looking for something to fit the rear. My truck is ~5" drop in the rear so the 4" drop shocks are too long and the 6" are too short. I have a set of 6" drop explorer no name shocks in the back that I had to weld extensions on(don't ask) to allow for a normal amount of droop.

It is very important to get the bumpstop to stop the suspension right as your tires buzz the fender liners. You need to make use of as much wheel travel as possible once you are lowered, especially if the only shocks that fit don't work.
