Default Goin LOW

Hey guys startin to get back in the swing of things, gonna be starting with sittin the truck nice and low. Goin with DJM front lower control arms (3"), rear is gonna be Belltech 3" leafs. Already has shackle hangars on it, the hangars are staying on for sure, have some factory shackles that may or may not go on if not the first hole on the aftermarkets.

Anyone have experience with the leafs? ride quality? I know "towing capacity" is gonna be significantly less but the most truck will see is 2 sport bikes. Also going with Toxic drop shocks, loved how they rode on my old truck. Thoughts and opinions please

side note: truck sits 2/4 now with coils on the front. Probably will be going up for sale after the swap and I may or may not cut my stock springs 1"

cool, thats what Im lookin for. Shocks I think will also have a play on the roughness.

Saw a slammed ram today headin home from dinner with my parents. Im burnin to drop it now. I will probably go 4 in the front if not 5 I think. More worried about doin the notch in the rear more than anything. Not a huge fan of cuttin up a load bearing portion of the truck, haha. I do have access to post jacks and what not at work, just kinda intimidating.

thats what everyone says, its actually very simple though. i made mine out of some 1/4" scrap a friend had laying around so it would be tougher than the notches suspension places sell because i tow a decent amount too. i also welded mine all the way around instead of bolting it on

make sure you have your e-brake cables pulled away from the frame on the drivers side before you start cutting and if you are going to use a plasma cutter be sure to have a full tank of gas

i run hotchkis 4" leafs and I love them.. it handles like a freaking dream.. and the ride is probably a 6 out of 10... its not bad.. it rides better with a little weight back there.

at first with the stock shocks it rode HORRIBLE so i put some belltech drops and its much better....
