GMT800 driveshaft options, will be shortened
#1
I'm getting a new driveshaft for my 02 Yukon. Direct model year fitting ones are always rusted to ****.
I'm going to be shortening the driveshaft for a 4l80e swap.
Seeing how length isn't an issue, will newer year GMT900? fit yoke wise? The newer driveshafts look stronger, larger diameter and seem less prone to rust.

There is not much clearance between the stock shaft and the trans so I dont think a larger diameter will fit. I had a stock diameter one custom made that was thick wall steel and used the factory yokes.
