Have you actually damaged the 6L80? I imagine you are in for a ton of work retro fitting to a 4L80. I would think that since the 6L80 is factory rated so much higher than the 4L80 it would be a challenge to break even with that combination.

That would be great. The 6L80E is in fine shape. I wass under the impression it was assumed to be good to ~ 600 HP. I fugured 800 WHP might be a bit of an issue. If you're saying the 6L80E is good, the 6L90E must be meaningfully stronger again (?)

<EDIT> OK. I think I'm catching on. Get the new guy to be the first to blow up a 6L80E. Haha!
