I do like the m/t's. How do they last on the street?? They wear out quick?? Im not expecting a 20k mile tire out of a drag radial , but I drive my truck a lot on the weekends.

How do they compare to MT?

I believe I read they last longer on the streets compared to MT. They are more $$.

I want to buy four radials for 16" wheels. I am divided between MT-3794R and M&H-ROD18. Looking for traction and longevity.

Look to last a long time as long as you keep burnouts to a minimum.

If your 2wd and want a decent chance at hooking, look into what foose came up with, he did alot of research and it shows imo. The saying goes 1 tenth off your 60= 2 tenths off your ET.. Can have DR's and caltracs and still not hook up all day long, its about the weight transfer and getting things moving and controlling it, drop springs arent very good at getting the front to lift btw..
Or their is the 4wd approach, strap the front control wheel hop and let it eat...

Btw if you wanna see a good vid of how caltracs lift the rear i rem roger from alaska posting a vid of his truck on the dyno showing it well..

Do you drive on them? I'm thinking about putting a set of the M&H DR's on and just leaving them on. I have a set of Hoosier quick time slick's I use at the track. But I'd like to get a DR for street duty...
