What size Nitto's are you running?

If you're wanting those to hook on the street, keep dreaming. And if you want them to hook at the track, good luck, you'll need it. I've heard very little good about Nitto drag radials...

They do. It's hard to explain, but if you watched a video of your truck launching, I guarantee you see it separate at the launch then unload within 40 ft, making you lose traction. Once your suspension is separated, you need a good shock to keep it that way. You basically don't have enough power and traction to keep the suspension separated, so you need a shock that will help you out. That's what Jeff C was saying.

I'm running a 275/60/15 nitto drag radial. Not impressed by them at all. I think the factory all terrains with 15-20psi hooked better honestly

Those Nittos need to go. I had a set of 555R 325 50 15's for a few seasons and they were a disappointment. Like you said, on the street they were worse than regular street tires. On the track with a medium burnout, it was a coin toss if they would hook or spin. This was on a stock 80E converter and a mild 3.70 rear gear, so I wasn't asking a lot of the tires.
Last season I switched to a 275 60 15 Mickey Thompson ET street radial and they are WAY better.
