i ran my stockers at the track with 13psi. and had no traction problems, although i wasn't stalling it, just holding it back with the brake and punching it when that 3rd yellow light came on. that was with 3.42's and the one wheel peel. on the street this thing is stupid, with the 3.42 i would fry em in second by just punching it from a dead stop. with 4.10 and eaton, it fries them all though first then rides it out and shifts to 2nd.

Purchased the leaf spring clamps from Autozone, $9.99 for a set of two clamps. This has helped with traction while rolling, but still boils the tires from a standing stop. May need to go with different tires in the rear, more meat, and softer rubber.

My preference with my S10 is 4* negative pinion angle, slide-a-links, and a sticky tire. If possible, less spring rate in the back and a soft shock. Some people think 4 is too much, but it works great for me, I wouldnt go any less than 3 negative.

The only good way to hook it up is go for a 4 link/ladder bar set up, a good set of tires. If your not puttin a ton of power out caltrac's will work. But this has allready been posted. has any one ever thought of using helper or air shocks. Just preload the one side more then the other on a launch. That might go good with a set of bars.

With the slide-a-link you can preload one side more than the other, I am pretty sure you can do the same with the caltracs. You can get a stock type leaf setup to hook pretty good with the right tire and no wheel hop. I saw a S10 at the track running mid 11's with no bars at all, and he was getting good 60 fts. I dont think a 4 link/ ladder bar is a neccesity for running fast as long as you tune what you have properly.
