Want to see just how bad axle wrap can get?

I have lateral trac bars that totally solve this problem, but for that video they were off for repair because the front brackets completely taco'd up from the torque:

It was my fault really, I have them mounted funky because they are intended for 4x4 with a minimum of 6" lift. I have stock height. Hard to see in these pics but they are gusseted and much stronger now. They're holding great and totally prevent axle wrap and wheel hop.

Something similar could be fabricated with some links. When I bought the bars way back I did not have a MIG welder as I do now. These days I would have made my own. The trick to solving wrap is getting an axle mounting point for bars under the housing to give the axle something solid to push the vehicle with. Let the leaf spring soften the ride but set up bars to push the truck frame forward.

I am getting 1.97 60' times on the stock goodyear 20's and stock suspension. On the street it is a completely different story! I will just spin halfway into second if I lay on it at a light. As soon as I get moved into the new house I am going to get my suspension on and hopefully get some better 60'. I am also looking at getting a couple of 18's and drag radials for the track.

Question.
Why would a 4 linked rear end have wheel hop all the way thru 1st gear? What could be causing this?
KP 4 link
12'' shock
12'' spring, 300lb.
Bumpstop is resting on axle
Toyo 275 proxies
RCSB
G80, 3.73s
No wheel hop on the street... only spinning. But at the track it's all wheel hop.
Any ideas?

ya get it off the bumpstop . the weight transfer off the stop then bouncing back on it and does this till you hook . my old truck had this problem when i lowered the rear end and left the stock shocks they were bottomed out . when i would pop the clutch theyd bounce off the shock then kept do it . i changed the shocks and it stopped . so give it a shot .
as for me i got a 2.2 with stock 3.73 g-80 on stock general 245's at 20 psi . had a little bit of spin off the line still but i was scared to air them out anymore because i have no faith in these tires to be honest .
