Hey guys wanted to get your opinions. Setup is in sig. My current convertor is a 258mm stalled around 3500-3600 but with my new cam i lost some low end. I was going to put different gears in because i like my convertor and dont really want to go with the looser 245mm even though it would help. So which gears would who recommend 4.10s (probably wont help much but not sure), 4.30s, or 4.56s. Truck is a crewcab so is weighing 5380 with me in it.

 

Whats your tire size??? 3.73 to 4.10 wont make much of a difference... maybe 200 rpm higher from what you see now.

 

I went from 3.42 to 3.73 to 4.11 and felt a bigger difference from 3.73-4.11

 

That would be because your getting higher up into the power band.

What was your RPM difference.

 

Tire size is 275/55/20 but will be going 295/50/20 in a few months

 

That 295 50 20 is around 31", I say go 4:56 and don't look back.

 

I'm running 4.56 and a 32.6" tire with a circle d 245mm 4c (3700) and love the way it takes off. I cut consistent 1.83 60' and a best 1.79 with the mods in my Sig. My truck weighs 5300 with me in it.

 

I run a 30.5" tire and I like my factory 3.73's but I'm thinking about something a little steeper. I just didn't want to waste money on 4.11s if I can't feel a difference. I'm going to spray the hell out of it too, so I don't want 4.56's. I don't know what I'll do yet.

 

id say 4.30s or 4.56s i have 4.10s and wish i did steaper gears plus being you have a crew cab do at least 4.30s imo

 

I'd do 4.30s wish I did too but oh well lol
