Default gear wear

so i changed the fluid in my rear end since i put in a valuetrac and gears. the gears were used i was told they had about a 1000 miles on them. i was inspecting them and found weird wear marks on the toe end and they are only on the coast side and was wondering if anyone can tell me what would be causing it. i looked around internet but couldnt find much. there wasnt much on the magnet for shavings.

It is really hard to say without some marking compound. Can you get some and take more pics?

i already sealed it up since its my daily driver at the moment. ill probaly check it in acouple thousand more miles. when i put them in the pattern looked acceptable.

i was talking to a friend at worked today and he brought up it could be possibly deflection? but i would think it would be across the whole tooth and not just like 1/8 inch of the toe.
