Check and see if they have AAM gears, which I believe are what the OEM gears are. They're only slightly more expensive than the others such as Motive, but will not whine if properly installed

My v-max has 4:10's in it stock from gm. Dont let anyone tell you to go with anything less gear wise. It will move out and still gets what I consider great mileage for what I have done to it and how I use it.
