my grenade 80 finnaly dumped the spider gears caught it before it did any extensive damage. wanting to know if the make a true trac or powertrax that will fit in the g80 carrier cant seem to find one but trying to get back on the road quick any suggestions

 

The G80 does not have spider gears just clutches. Meaning you will have to replace the whole carrier.

 

so does that mean i dont have a g80 because its stamped in the glovebox on rpo codes and its locks both tires but it has spider gears all 4 of them coming apart

 

It has gears in it but they are not your regular spider gears. Also a trutrac or any other real locker or posi will replace the whole carrier. I don't know if they make a lockrite for our rearend. But even if they did you would need and open diff carrier for it to work.
So your only options are new g80 or a trutrac or other posi.

 

G80 is not rebuildable(without special tools that the dealer doesn't even have....). Replace it with an Eaton LSD or tru-trac.

 

My G80 still locks both tires but its gettin replaced asap with a trutrac.
