Default Fuddle torque converters?

I know that some people are not happy with their customer service at the moment but I am more into knowing how does everyone like their converters?
I looking into to getting one and was inquiring on the efficiency in city driving and if there's a mpg lose with like a 3k stall? I was recommended a 3k with 2.1 STR. I am really in need of one with my 383. Any input on their converters on efficiency or just general opinions are welcome. Thanks!

The converter is great I have a 3900 and it is every bit as driveable as my old TCI 3K stall. I bought one of his first converters and was happy till I tried to contact them ehre lately. Good luck even getting ahold of them to order one. I have always been a great advocate of their product but their CS has SUCKED lately and CS s VERY important to me.

Well, I've never owned a high stall torque converter...I've always had a stock unit so I don't know what to expect really by getting one, the effiency of daily driving, and just curious how they rake?

I think Beau's 2800 stall is looser at part throttle in his reg cab than my 3000 stall at part throttle in my extended cab. That's just my observation from riding in it and watching him back out of my driveway. BTW, his is a fuddle, mine's a yank.

In my personal opinion almost a grand for a converter is rediculous I will buy a PI if one comes up for sale used for a decent price.
