I am very happy with my Fuddle Converter but there customer service has turned to Crap so if I were to do it all over again I would go with a Yank.

LS1Tech took Fuddle off the preffered vendor list.

I dont know about buying one new directly from him from my talks with him it seems you can. He honors the fuddle converters we already have and will work with us on restalls etc. He isnt going to charge me for a whole new converter when I go 80e just have to send my 60e verter in and he will convert it to an 80e converter. He is going to build me one that is a bit different that what I have now and not charge me anything but shipping for it and of course I have to give him my current one back. Nice guy and seems to want to make things right. I dont kow how his prices compare to Fuddles. Im going to call him again tomorrow and see how he feels about getting all the business sent his way since we will be cutting out the "middle man(John Fuddle)" so to speak.
