Im looking into getting a fuddle converter. I dont tow. They say that basically all that is different between the "Performance truck series" and the "HP Truck series" is the ability to tow. As i have gathered, is the ability to tow is based on the clutches and methinks there is a different clutch in the HP truck series. I want to know, Will there be a difference in times based on the which series i choose. I want to spend as little as possible, same as anybody but then again i want to put out the best times possible. I have called fuddle but i guess they are busy. Anybody have any know-how on this subject. Thanks for reading and suggestions and comments are welcome.
Q: Which fuddle converter will put out the best times?

i have the performance series because i will not be towing. yes the HP has a different clutch, a larger one. i am very happy with my 400$ perf. stall rated at 3200 even with the extended cab still stalls to about 3400 but they come loose anwyays. john at fuddle said the performance would hold a trucks weight as long as we didnt try to tow anything with it or have really heavy payloads

cool! But will the clutch make a difference in the ratio or the performance? I talked to john earlier in May and he was saying that i needed a HP serie. I was like
because i never tow. I know abselutely nothing about how a converter works.

i dunno, but he told me if i didnt tow i could use the performance and im extended cab....maybe when you are starting to make a whole lot more power like a turbo set up then you would want to have a HP series but the performance should do...on the website the only difference is the fact that the HP series has a "highly towable clutch"

You dont need the HP Beau (you dont make enough power
) JK. If I remember correctly you really dont need the HP unless you tow. As far as that changing your ET any (I know you need all the help you can get
) I dont see where that would really make a difference. Just get the cheaper one, youll be fine
