ok my truck only has the drop shackle out back, stock up front for like 2weeks now i noticed everytime i hit a bump on the road i hear rattle noise mostly on the pass side . ive checked i really dont see any damage except the upper nd lower ball joints rubber boots are busted and on the driver side the lower ball joint also... nd i see grease has beens coming out. could this be the problem? any ideas. to replace the ball joint do i need to press them in???

 

I would check your ball joints. It's simple enough.

If it's truly a rattling noise I wouldn't necessary assume ball joints.
I recently replace both the upper and lower ball joints because I was getting a popping noise when I went around corners and over bumps. I used the method shown in the video and found slop in my lower ball joints.

Replacing the ball joints was fun. The upper ball joints are pressed in and the bottom ball joint are held in with four (big) rivets.
