i told the dude today to set it for best tire wear...
about 10 minutes later he came and found me and said that it was almost dead on!
he said that the toe-in needed to be adjusted, but other than that...it looked great!
even though I need to read turboberserker's write-up for any of this to even begin to make any sense...
here are the numbers I ended up with:

camber FL:0.6, FR:0.4, RL:0.0, RR:-0.9
caster FL:5.4, FR:5.9
toe FL:0.05, FR:0.05, RL:0.27, RR:-0.04
sai FL:10.5, FR:9.9
included angle FL:11.1, FR:10.3

cross camber F:0.3, R:0.9
cross caster F:-0.5
cross sai F:0.6
total toe F:0.10, R:0.23

thrust angle 0.16

I didn't list any of the "before" #'s...but...
because I mentioned that he said that the toe needed to be adjusted some...
the "before" toe on the front was FL:-0.43, FR:0.31

All looks in specs to me -- but I'm not sure how different the standard 4wd specs are to the SSS.

Id almost pull the tires and check both front hubs. They go bad ALOT!!! And if let go too long. It gets really ugly!

Your new alignment specs look good...make sure that the tires are properly inflated and your tire wear should be even now. The camber is actually more positive than it needs to be, but with the tire wear issues that you've had, I can see why the alignment tech would go a little to the positive side. I would have like to have seen the before specs...it looks like you had a combination of major negative camber along with a toe out condition.

the "before" #'s TODAY were not far off at all, if any...except for toe...
NOW...the "before the spacers" #'s would have been a whole 'nutha story...
like I stated...with crude tools, the front end needed to be raised 7/8" and the spacers actually raised it 1-1/8"...I haven't measured since to see if it settled any further...I'm sure it did...that's probably why he didn't have to adjust back negatively on the camber today...
keep in mind...the eccentrics are still as far positive as they can go...
Thanks guys for all of your input...I really appreciate it!
