All I did was show you how to set it so it wouldn't lock under higher load.

correct. appreciate all your help to btw

ive been messing around with my partial throttle stuff on shifting, at times its shifting into 4th at like 30mph and rpms are way low so im trying to figure all that out without messing other things up

I have my edge CTS for display and it has a throttle % ive been watching it vs speed to see where im at. Thing i found funny is at a stoplight its showing like 15 or so % TPS, seem strange as my foot is not on the pedal at all

Electronic throttle bodies do weird stuff like that. It is normal.

I have my converter set to lock up only in 4th and only at 70+ MPH. When I am going to play around I always downshift to 3rd or 2nd to be easier on the trans as well.

Circle D must have had some changes since the 90s as I see a lot of good results from them npw. I had them redo a TH 350 TCI for me for my 400 HP Pontiac motor. After some street miles and maybe 75 1/4 mile passes laid over about 1/3 of the fins on the inside.

Yes, we have improved a lot in the last 20+ years, we are always improving. Swing by and check us out, I think you will be impressed.

Thanks for the response Chris. Having laid over that many fins with a mild setup and saying it was to also be a race convertor was disappointing to say the least.
I will say locally had worse results with TransKing on convertors.

Still on Hempstead Highway?

Yes, Hempstead and Fairbanks. Not sure what we did on the TCI back in the day and sorry for the problem.
