Default Flywheel question; K1500 5.7

I've got my 1990 K1500 stripped of the transmission right now doing a direct swap. When I got it pulled off, I thought "Hey, I wonder if there are any good upgrades to the flywheel for a truck since I know upgrading it on my Camaro is a good thing."

So I know... nothing... about most drivetrain stuff. Any thoughts or suggestions? Upgrades, or leave it the way it is and go about my swap?

Please explain your reasoning as you would to someone with say... no experience. lol

We feel that is a good idea to change the flywheel when installing a transmission but a unless you are increasing horsepower significantly it is not necessary to go with a certified approved flywheel due to the cost factor
