hey could you explain a little more on what you used fittings wise for your tranny cooler lines to get them to fit up to the cooler. What cuts did you make to get the hard gm lines to fit up so nicely? also where did you get the EAD brackets? thanks!

I'll PM you the EAD info as they're not a sponsor here...they sell a kit that includes the brackets, fittings, and compression fitting, everything you need to adapt the TruCool to the GM auxilary cooler lines. Only one cut has to be made to the passenger side line with a tubing cutter, then the line is spun over 180*

The kit with the compression fitting and adapters plus mounting brackets is def worth the money!!! Makes it much easier. Setup looks clean with it.

However, i did find that the bottom mounting bracket i got was cut wrong. The hole for the ambient air temperature sensor, was on the left side and not the right. I just mounted it on the rubber mat under the cooler, no big deal but found it odd that the hole was on the wrong side haha

The fact that we cant recommend retailers on here just because they arent a sponsor is rediculous.....

Billy, how does the bottom of TruCool fit to that lower brkt.? I can't see it in pic, does it bolt in from engine side or what's method of attachment?

Also, install on your 40K looks sweet. I like how clean it mounts, flat black matches better than a semi gloss. However, I don't like the extra cuts in baffle even if it's hidden. Nice work!

BTW, you're not gettin old, u are.

Dead blow hammers. Do Not leave those out in the cold!!! Bring em inside over winter. Trust me on this. Already replaced 1 this winter that shattered, now another has to go back left out. Unless, u were man-handling it like a beast.

Flip it over.

You can't flip it, cause the one side's bolt alignment has a shorter width than the other. I had it the right way. It only worked one way for me and that was with the hole on the wrong side. Trust me i tried flipping it
