I would love to do a direct swap, but I don't want to worry every time I jump on the throttle. What 65e (exactly) are you suggesting for me?

Thanks for the responses.
well it sounds to me that you are set on an 80e. BTW, I give my tranny hell and it doesent miss a beat, i have 500 rwhp on spray. with a flt65e.

Listen to this guy, have you seen the times he has put down with basically your setup?

Rodney theres a guy that lives a lil bit away from me that can supposedly build a mean 4L60E. Transformance is the name of his place. Matt(Dixie Tuned) knows the number and the guys name is Jim. You might could come out better with a tranny from him. I know i got a 4L60E with a shift kit and servos from him for my 94 Silvy for 900 bucks. Granted its not a full on built tranny its still a good price for what i got. I believe he is who will get my tranny when it grenades.

If you want to do the 65E swap I'll tell you go for it. It's so amazingly easy... 100% completely direct swap, nothing you gotta do special. Just drop your old one, stab the new one in and drive away. Well... put fluid in it too......

I would say 80e with shift kit. Your turbo will deal with the tall ratio 1st gear better than any other power adder. One last option is to research the 3:1 first gear swap for the 80e, I have heard about it but havn't spoke to anyone using it.

I am not set on anything yet. its my daily driver so downtime has to be minimal. I need to be able to have it done in a weekend.
