I finally got/installed my FLT trans!

NOW I gotta get more powah!!!!!!

 

nice! let me know how that 2400 vig drives, been looking at one and hardly anyone on here goes that low on stall speed

 

Congrats on the install Me & a buddy just installed a 4l80e in mine last night and today but need a new driveshaft as the new trans is longer enjoy.

 

I wasn't about to drop a 3-3600 stall in it, that just seemed rediculous.

It drives pretty much like stock when driving regurly just a few higher rpm's to actually get moving. But when punched from a stand still... I had some tire dust where I sat and spun and then 10-15ft worth of left tire trail..

time to get a trutrac or dana60 in there with some 73's...

 

I got 3.90s and if I had to do it all over again Id go 4.11s I am also runnin a 31'' tire just my input I dont do much highway drivin.

 

I don't do much highway driving either. But where I live at everything is very wide spread and sorta almost highway (60mph)

Also whenever I get deployed oversea's I like to drop the truck off at my parents house. That's a good 14 hour drive, gets kinda costly.

I'll probably stick with the 73's.. kind of in the middle ya know?

I got 42's now.
