Flip kit tips

I just did my flip kit tonight, and ended up just removing both leaf springs since the drivers side bolt was already replaced with a shorter one for whatever reason. It's also much easier to access on a RCSB. On my ECSSB truck I had to move the tank because of the way the frame rises up in a different spot

Thats about all I had on my 08 until I put the 22's on. With the 285/40s they are about 1-1.5" shorter overall and gave me more clearance. I'm going to notch mine down the road, but I've been driving it for a couple months now with no issues. Obviously I hit the occasional big bump or hole and it still hits, but 90% of the time I have zero issues.
Oh... and that front driver side leaf bolt by the tank. We still couldn't manage to get the drivers side of the axle where we needed it after doing it the way everyone has said on here.. My buddy and his dad own a welding/fabrication shop. We just cut the bracket off where that bolt goes through and they welded it back up afterwards. Not something I would necessarily suggest if you aren't that confident in your welding, but they are good and I've had no issues.
